DARJEELING 1ST FLUSH -

A lot showcasing this estate's almost unrivalled expertise, both in the cup and in the appearance of the leaf. From young AV2 clonal bushes of the Singbulli division. It has all the characteristics of a spring tea, with its springtime floral notes (white lily, white roses, tulips...) combined with a light astringency and subtly sweet notes on the finish. Harvest: fine and by hand. Garden details: stretches over more than 9 hills and 4 plots (22 km from one end of the garden to the other). Harvest date: 5 April. Special feature: the quantity of fresh leaves harvested for this 140 kg lot is around 500 kg. Expert's comments: this is a perfect afternoon drink to put you in a good mood. Savour this beneficial tea, which will take you to new heights with every sip. Tasting moment: any time of day.
