Description

For several years this estate has been renowned for producing very fine clonal teas. This lot, harvested and processed in early April, is a perfect example of a spring Darjeeling. It develops a light astringency, combining subtle floral notes reminiscent of rose with fruity notes of muscat and hazelnut.

ORIGIN:

  • Region: Located in the picturesque Mirik Valley in Darjeeling.
  • Harvest: Terminal bud and 2 leaves
  • Special feature: Estate located in the foothills of the Himalayas, close to the Kanchenjunga mountain range.TASTING NOTES:
  • Dry leaves: Green, even, with many silver buds.
  • Attack: Warm and silky.

Heart: Rose and muscat with a light astringency.

  • Finish: Delicate hazelnut and floral notes for your taste buds.
