Description
Liubao (Liu Bao Cha) is a fermented dark tea from Guangxi, China. Close to Pu-erh, its post-fermentation process gives it earthy, woody and slightly camphorous notes. Aromatic profile: deep forest-floor aromas, notes of hazelnut, camphor or jujube. Production: originating from the village of Liu Bao, it undergoes ‘pile’ fermentation (wo dui). Health: aids digestion, warms the body and helps manage blood sugar. Preparation: ideally brewed using the gong fu cha method (multiple infusions).
