Mug Dunoon Glencoe 0.5L - The World of Fishing

Dunoon fine bone china mugs are handmade in Staffordshire, England. They are made to the highest quality using traditional methods that have been developed and refined over three family generations in the pottery industry.

Named after one of Scotland's greatest glens, Glencoe, this oversized mug is one of our oldest shapes, yet remains one of the most striking. It has great presence, and our informative and educational designs have remained the most popular on this shape. Its rim is flared and its handle sturdy and comfortable, giving it a reassuringly solid feel in the hand.

Ever since the dawn of humankind, fishing has been an essential part of life. In recent years it has become a popular pastime with a large following, with varieties such as big-game fishing, spearfishing and sea fishing. This mug aims to educate by sharing fun facts with brightly coloured images. Did you know that the term “noodling” means catching a fish with your bare hands?
