Menghai Shu Cha Puer Pu Erh tea from Moychay

Menghai Shu Cha Puer is made from raw material harvested in Menghai county.

Appearance: large dark brown leaves. The aroma is intense, with woody and nutty notes and spicy herbs.

The infusion is a deep brown with a chestnut-red hue.

The bouquet is full-bodied, nutty and woody, with notes of dried fruit, rustic bread and spicy herbs. The aroma is intense and warm, with notes of nuts and wood.

The taste is rich, soft, velvety and sweet, with a light woody acidity and a fruity tartness.

The tea is brewed in hot water (95–100°C) in a gaiwan or a porous clay teapot.

Use 6–8 g per 100 ml. The first infusion lasts about 10 seconds.

Then make short infusions (just 3 to 5 seconds) and increase the steeping time for each subsequent infusion if needed. The tea can be infused up to 8 times.
